Patterns of Wonder Spanish Read Alouds -

After a long wait, the book Patterns of Wonder, a book dedicated to teaching students in grades K-1 about author’s craft, was finally published in 2021. It did not disappoint. A wonderful resource with amazing picture book recommendations to model each lesson. Unfortunately, if you are like me—a bilingual teacher who teaches writing only in Spanish—it’s unlikely we’ll be able to use these books in English to teach all writing conventions because there are a few differences between English and Spanish.

I have looked around Amazon to see if I could find the Spanish edition of these books. When I found quite a bit, there are many that aren’t available.

If they are available, I will include the image of the book. Click on it and it will take you to Amazon. If not, I will recommend a book or I will leave the space empty (N/A).
