My favorite products from Claudia Alonso have been the ABC books and the Decodable English and Spanish books. Each book ties perfectly with the letter of the week, and students are able to make letter sound connections with each image easily. We do shared reading each day with the books, and my students by the end of the week are reading the books by themselves independently. The Decodable books also tie in perfectly with all our math, social studies, and science lessons. Students get a deeper understanding of lessons taught because they are also connecting the lessons with their readers. These books have made a huge impact on my students, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I have greatly enjoyed Mrs. Alonso's books. They have been super helpful as I work with my small groups. They are very easy to adapt to and can be used for any curriculum. I strongly recommend them!

Mrs. Alonso is an exceptional Bilingual Teacher who uses her expertise in the science of reading, curriculum and instruction, differentiation, and cross-curricular instruction to design very creative and focused resources that teachers can incorporate in the daily lessons in whole-group and small-group instruction, interventions, and enrichment. These resources can be used during guided reading, shared reading, and independent work. I have seen Mrs. Alonso's students utilizing these resources to help them excel in foundational reading skills and build background knowledge and vocabulary to support other content areas.

I have used several products created by Claudia Alonso in the last 5-6 years. As a bilingual teacher it is not always easy to find products that are not only a translation of something done in English. I find her resources to be appropriate for the needs of bilingual students. Her resources are easy to use, age appropriate and helpful to me as a teacher to move students forward. For example, I have used her letter decodable books. The students are always very engaged coloring, highlighting and reading them. Those books have really helped my students grow as readers.
